Topic: Inner space of various kinds (Quaker Faith & Practice 26.28)

Let us bring to mind times that inner space has become large and enlivening... Perhaps it was a moment of sympathy or reflection; hearing a passage of music; the focused care of a plant; or contemplation of the light.

What called us to spend time there? An urgent issue? Other people? Routine? Chance?

And, while we were there, did we find God present?

We meet on the same Zoom Meeting as for Meeting for Worship, so you have the option to stay on after the discussion group and attend Meeting for Worship.

Monthly discussion group. We are thinking about

"Group games":

"Games" are various. Families play them at Christmas. Children play them on the school ground. Dancers play games to create movement textures. Actors play games to devise and deepen characters. Students play games to practice skills. Politicians "play games". Nations play games. Communities play games. At Junior Yearly Meeting, we played lots of games!

This Sunday, let's get together and play some games! I will start with a gentle group challege and then, as time permits, introduce a couple more.

As people prefer, we may play more, or we might discuss more - sharing memories of old favourites or observations from our play.

We meet on the same Zoom Meeting as for Meeting for Worship, so you have the option to stay on after the discussion group and attend Meeting for Worship.
